Introduction

     Hello! My name is Jakara Wright. I am a junior at Ben C Rain High School. My dreams are to one day become a trauma surgeon and to own a business. My strongest subject is math.  Some of my hobbies include reading, learning about new things, and listening to music. Some of my favorite artists include Erykah Badu, India Arie, and Kevin Gates. My goals this school year are to keep an A average in all of my classes and have good attendance.

    Hey, My name is Doryan Williams. I took English Language and Composition last year in Mr.Rease class. Contrary to other's opinions, Mr. Rease is a great teacher and is very open with his class. Be sure to take advantage of the class discussion. A better understanding could be achieved through participation in class. Secondly, Be sure to familiarize yourself with the AP test outside of his class. Although you may make an A in his class, doesn't mean you are assured a 5 on the AP Exam. Lastly, Be an asset to your class. I was rewarded with the "The Most Outstanding Student" of his class last year. i achieved this through being reliable, responsible, and persistent in the course. Follow these tips, and perhaps you could be the Most Outstanding Student of your class.

When You Throw a Party and Nobody Comes

Summary      The article, "When you throw a party and nobody comes", is about a group, PCTA, who throws parties and no one attends. The group could not understand the lack of attendance. PCTA never once considered their party throwing skills were the problem. The group came up with three possible factors of the lack of attendance. The first being isolation from big population. The second being isolation from big roads. The last factor being isolation from a social scene. With those possible problems the PCTA also came up with possible solutions. The solutions include: hold more parties, more outreach, and send experienced volunteers from other sections of the trail to lead and mentor new local volunteers in isolated areas.  Questions 1. Could the lack of attendance come form the purpose of the parties? 2. Could it just be that the PCTA is bad at hosting parties? Facts 1. Through the Goat Rocks and William O.
